Interview or assessment

Step - 1 The Applicant will be directed to the test administration room and will be asked to write a statement based on the question provided. They will have 15 minutes to complete this. Step -2 The Applicant will be collected by an academic and taken to an appropriate space for interview. The interview should last between 15-25 minutes. Preparing For Your Interview Why ‘that’ course? As with any university interview, you will be asked why you have applied for the course you have chosen. If you have conducted some thorough research, this is your chance to shine and impress your interviewer, demonstrating your firm understanding of the course syllabus and structure. Furthermore, interviewers want to know about YOU. Which aspects of the course appeal to YOU and why? Why ARU London? Your interviewers will also want to know why you have chosen ARU London as opposed to other universities. This is once again an excellent opportunity to show the interviewer that you have conducted some research about ARU London. Try to think of examples as to what ARU London can offer you that other universities may not be able to. Previous Education/Qualifications: Try to draw on your previous experience. For instance, you may have studied, or be currently studying, something related to your chosen course. Perhaps you have worked within that industry and have a wealth of experience to share. These are all examples which can strengthen your argument as to why you have chosen your particular course. Your CV & Personal Statement Know your personal statement and CV inside out. Your interviewer will be keen to find out more about your personal experiences in further detail. Remember to bring any academic documents which have been requested from our Admissions Team. Life After University Although this is looking far ahead, interviewers will be interested to find out more about your motivations behind studying at ARU London. Consider where you hope your degree will take you and how this will help boost your career prospects.

Attendance and English

To receive a Maintenance Loan you normally need regular in-person classes during the week. A course offering only weekend attendance does not normally meet these requirements. Before enrolling, confirm the timetable and any applicable exceptions with the provider and Student Finance England.

The provider will check that you meet the English requirements for this course, whether you are a Home or international student. Declaring your level does not replace their assessment.

Read the official attendance guidance

The provider publishes student support services. Ask its support team about study needs, wellbeing, reasonable adjustments and any course-specific finance eligibility; support and funding are assessed individually.
